Summer isn't just for kids! Join us for New Haven Pottery Studio's very first Adult Summer Camp! Running August 23rd through September 20th, a month-long celebration of creativity, community, and bringing out your inner child.
Throughout camp, you'll have the opportunity to unplug, get creative, and reconnect with yourself through a variety of hands-on workshops and unique experiences. From pottery and art to collaborative activities and creative adventures, each session is designed to spark imagination, encourage connection, and remind you how much fun it is to simply create.
Whether you come with friends or on your own, you'll leave with handmade projects, new memories, and a renewed sense of play.

Join us for a slow, grounding morning of movement + creativity designed to help you reconnect with yourself through both yoga and clay ✨
The workshop will begin with a beginner yoga flow led by Taylor Morgan from Sol from 10–11am, focused on mindful movement, breath, and centering the body and mind. After yoga, we’ll transition into the pottery lesson from 11am–1pm where our talented Ceramic Instructor will guide you through a beginner-friendly wheel throwing experience.
Both yoga and pottery invite us to slow down, stay present, and connect more deeply with ourselves & others. Whether you’re completely new to yoga, pottery, or both, this workshop is designed to be welcoming, supportive, and beginner friendly. Paint your own pipe
⭐ August 23rd, 4-6pm, Cost: $45
Join us for a relaxed afternoon of creativity, community, and self-expression as you personalize your own ceramic pipe in this beginner-friendly painting workshop. Whether you prefer bold colors, floral patterns, celestial designs, abstract art, or something completely your own, you'll have the freedom to create a piece that reflects your personal style.
Our instructors will provide guidance and inspiration while you paint your ceramic pipe using a wide selection of glazes and decorative techniques. Once complete, your piece will be professionally fired in our kiln, creating a durable, food-safe finish that's ready for pickup after firing.
To make the experience even more enjoyable, we'll have refreshments and light snacks available throughout the workshop, creating the perfect atmosphere to unwind, connect with others, and enjoy a creative evening together.

Step into a world of color and creativity in our Make Your Own Fused Bead Designs Workshop, part of our Adult Summer Camp series! Hosted at El Thrift Store, this hands-on workshop invites you to create your own coquí-inspired keepsake while honoring one of Puerto Rico's most treasured cultural symbols.
The coquí is more than a tiny tree frog, it's a symbol of home, resilience, and Puerto Rican identity. Throughout the workshop, we'll share the history and significance of the coquí while guiding you through the creative process of designing and making your own interpretation to take home.

Design, create, and wear a piece of jewelry that's uniquely yours in this special two-part ceramic workshop series!
In the first session on Friday, August 28th, you'll hand-build a collection of custom ceramic charms using slab-building and decorative techniques. Create meaningful symbols, florals, celestial designs, initials, or anything that inspires you. Gaby will guide you through the process of shaping, texturing, refining and glazing your charms before they are fired in the kiln.
When your pieces are ready, you'll return on Thursday, September 4th to assemble your finished pieces into a custom bracelet or necklace using high-quality jewelry findings, creating a wearable keepsake that's completely one of a kind.
